'His Place' Policies & Procedures

STANDARDS FOR CHOOSING SPEAKERS

1. As a minimum all speakers must be in agreement with the FBCC Doctrinal Statement.

          2. All speakers need to supply their doctrinal statements for review prior to approval for speaking; we reserve the right to request any speakers to read and sign the FBCC doctrinal statement prior to using our facilities.
        
His Place conference Center belongs to the Lord and we desire it to be treated as such.

Please observe the following rules.


1. All conduct must be such as will bring honor to the Lord, therefore, drinking, smoking or gambling are not permitted on any portion of the grounds or buildings. 

2. Please do not use unwholesome words.

3. Do not deface the buildings, furniture, equipment, trees or other property by putting nails in, scratching writing or coloring on

4. Help keep the grounds and buildings clean by putting litter in the trash cans provided.

7. A phone will be provided in the office for your convenience.

8 Fire hoses and extinguishers are for emergency use only.  DO NOT play with them at any time.  A charge of $10.00 will be made for any seals that need replacing.  Leave irrigation equipment alone.

9. Do not feed, pick up, or chase the animals you see on the grounds.

10. Do not remove anything from any building without the Director’s permission.

12. Fires are to be in designated area only, with adult present and Director’s permission.

13. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are not to be dropped off and left unattended without parental supervision at any time unless the parents have arranged for supervision.

14. Shop area and Directors home area are off limits.  Attendees will respect their privacy.

15. All vehicle traffic will follow the 5 mph speed limit while on the grounds, whether it is paved or not.

16. In consideration of the neighbors, Attendees must be quiet after 9 pm.

17. Adult supervision is required when children are playing on the playground.

PLEASE NOTE THESE REQUIREMENTS FOR CONFERENCES/FAMILY RETREATS

    *These are required from DHS and must be done

1. Please note that the board has ruled that anyone on the grounds for more than three (3) hours in a 24- hour period is subject to facility’s user’s fee.  Please have your daily count ready at check out time. Roster must be ready with all names listed.  You must also include the date and time they arrive and when they depart.  Attendees (and those under 18) must have address and phone number listed.  For the Staff we just need names.  All visitors must be registered.

2. As per Oregon State Law (ORS) at least one kitchen worker must have a current Food Handlers certificate in their possession.  Please provide us with a copy of that certification for our files. 

3. ORS 333.30.105 states—there shall be an adult on duty, any time the camp is operating, who has at least one of the following certification:

        a. American Red Cross Standard First Aid with CPR.

        b. Emergency Medical Technician Certification.

        c. Certified Nurse Practitioner       

        d. Registered Nurse.   

        e. Physician licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners

        Please provide us proof that you have a person on duty with these qualifications.  

4. Renters must carry medical and liability insurance and provide proof of coverage to His Place Conference Center.

5. Clean up schedules are given to you when you arrive.  They also are posted in each building.  We provide clean-up supplies.  Please let us know your clean-up time, so we can get supplies our to you.  This should be completed by check-out time. 

If you have any questions we will be available to answer them.  Our desire is that your stay with us will be both enjoyable and spiritually rewarding.
